The Eastern Regional Teen Conference 2018 “Black by Popular Demand” was hosted by the Mothers of the Baltimore, MD Chapter at the Hilton Baltimore from March 28-31, 2019.
The purpose of the Teen Conference is to create a forum that enables Jack and Jill Teens to engage in leadership development activities, including educational, cultural, recreational and philanthropic programs created for and by the Teens of the Eastern Region. This year with over 1250 conference registrants and 1800 Gala attendees the
teens made memories to last a lifetime. During the conference several of our teens were selected to be apart of various teen conference steering committees. We also had several teens participate in regional events. Andi Rose Oates participated in the regional oratorical competition. Aidan Pullian performed an original song in the Teen Talent Showcase. Sasha Capers was recognized as our Distinguished Teen. Several of our teens were recognized for their academic success – Sasha Capers, Pierce Hodges and Courtney Wilborn.
Graduating Seniors, Shane Fordham, Pierce Hodges and Colin Smith were celebrated at the senior gala. Our Regional Teen Treasurer, Pierce Hodges, presented and oversaw business meeting in a professional way. All of the teens honed in on their leadership skills and networking techniques when attending business meetings workshops and college fairs that were held throughout the weekend.
Our Chapter Teens were proud to have placed 2nd in chapter display and 1st in chapter attire for the Eastern Region.
